"The AWMV Sawmill is a much safer machine than anything else I've seen and, because a blade can be changed in less than five minutes, downtime is absolutely minimized in our plant."

Very thin kerf band saw technology and a stationary log positioning carriage with innovative material handling nearly eliminates downtime to maximize productivity, yield and profit. Use as a headrig, grade saw, supplemental breakdown line, or a standalone mill. 4250 Stationary Carriage Headrig (SCH)
Boards, slabs and cants are dropped to specially designed conveyer, equipped with shock absorbing rollers and 3/4" lined shock absorbing skid plates. The same conveyor also transfers sawdust to a point where it is easily separated from the other material.

Air strain to the blade comes from an 8" cylinder   The saw head is moved with a standard cable/drum system that only requires a 20HP drive unit

The log carriage is designed and built exclusively for AWMV by Cleereman Industries, an industry leader in carriages for more than 50 years.   Optional chain turner. Brownsville turners are also available as options
