AWMV Introduces New Management Team
Indianapolis, IN, September 1, 2009- AWMV Industrial Products is a division of Wood-Mizer Products, Inc. and focuses on industrial solutions for business applications. Although Wood-Mizer has manufactured industrial machines since 1991, the name, AWMV, was introduced in 2004 to differentiate the company's portable mills from the larger, stationary mills, resaws, edgers, and material handling equipment.
AWMV strives to elevate their presence in the commercial sawmill market and provide customers with machines that reduce costs for labor, blades, energy, and maintenance. They also know the importance of having the right people to serve their growing customer base.
Steve Clark, Wood-Mizer President, acknowledges the Wood-Mizer name is recognized and visible in the portable sawmill industry and that AWMV is building the same presence in the commercial industry. He says, "Wood-Mizer's reputation is a result of perseverance and hard work. AWMV is driven to command the same presence in the commercial sawmill market. Whether it is the equipment, company, or people, two things are for sure: AWMV is strong and solid."
With the company's commitment to elevating AWMV's presence in the market, some additions have been made to the team, including Darryl Floyd as Vice President and Randy Panko as Sales Manager.
Darryl Floyd, AWMV Vice President
Darryl has been with Wood-Mizer for 17 years and has served in several leadership roles. He enjoys meeting with customers, learning about their business needs, and then making sure AWMV is meeting those needs. He oversees the AWMV division and is focused on keeping customers number one. Randy Panko, AWMV U.S. Sales Manager
It is likely you have seen Randy explaining Wood-Mizer Blades either at a show or in a video online. He has been with Wood-Mizer for 25 years and was one of the first industrial sales consultants for the company. He knows the industry and enjoys working with customers to meet their needs. Mike Fischer, AWMV Sales Consultant - Northeast and West
Mike has been with Wood-Mizer for nearly 20 years, working in the AWMV industrial division for five of those years. His extensive product knowledge is a result of working in the areas of research and development, engineering, and customer service. Mike also sells Wood-Mizer Blades. Doug is another veteran employee and has been with Wood-Mizer 14 years. He started his career in the portable sawmill division before moving to a sales position with AWMV. Dorian Lavallee, Canadian Sales Manager
Dorian joined Wood-Mizer Canada in November 2006, with more than 15 years of sales, marketing and customer service experience and knows the value of being customer-focused, making it his number one goal.
